Animal rights in the north west
Welcome to the North West animal rights web site. Like you, we are just ordinary members of the public who strongly oppose all forms of animal cruelty and we campaign peacefully against all forms of animal abuse across the region.
Sadly animal abuse is all around us in many different forms and many millions of animals suffer and die every day for no real reason. Thanks to a growing movement across this country and the world, significant progress is being made in the struggle for animal rights.
We organise, take part in & publicise peaceful demonstrations, leafletting & other events across Cumbria and Lancashire. We work closely with other local groups and national groups in order to be more effective. We often travel to larger events around the country. Demos vary enormously, there`s something to suit everyone. Anything from half a dozen people leafletting outside McDonalds to 1,000's marching through Oxford.
We promote veggie and vegan diets as the most important thing anyone can do to stop animal cruelty. And as a bonus you will become healthier and help stop the pollution and destruction of our environment.
If you would like to get involved in animal rights in any way, please don't hesitate to get in touch or even attend one of our informal meetings. If you want to write letters to newspapers, MP's or animal abuse establishments, help with information stalls, create library displays, go hunt sabbing, take part in demonstrations, or anything else, we are here to help you to help animals!
